The concept originated from the insight that product launches must now move beyond demonstration to immersion. Xiaomi aimed to showcase how its smart home devices seamlessly integrate into daily life. Research involved exploring how different personas engage with connected devices and creating live scenarios to reflect that. The experience was curated to address media perception, tech-savviness, and the emotional connection of home automation.
We created a fully furnished, smart-enabled home with individual zones reflecting modern lifestyles—living room, kitchen, salon, and utility. Products were embedded within the environment using invisible supports, props, and interior stylization. Xiaomi TVs featured layered screen zones, while the vacuum mop display used dynamic floor visuals. The salon zone was activated using Xiaomi beard trimmers in a real-time styling booth. Every detail—from flooring to lighting—was designed for realism and technical clarity.
Key challenges included winning a competitive pitch, executing automation using hydraulic lifts and sensors, and syncing product reveals with scripted content. Ensuring system reliability during live demos required rigorous pre-testing. We also managed detailed zoning for fan engagement and interactive product trials while coordinating entertainment, registration, and hospitality—all with flawless transitions and minimal disruption.
