Product Launch and Experiential
Unacademy sought to launch a high-energy competitive learning product. Research focused on understanding what drives student excitement in offline formats—visual immersion, rapid-fire content, and a reality-show aesthetic. The insights guided the creation of a fast-paced quiz zone that could double as content for promotional use, ensuring both in-the-moment engagement and lasting digital presence.
The creative approach centered on building a set that looked both premium and kinetic. Multiple LED panels, focused lighting, and a sleek stage layout created a strong visual identity for Unacademy Compete. Designed to mirror a game show format, the setup used high-contrast color schemes and lighting grids to dramatize the contestant experience, keeping the viewer hooked both onsite and on video.
With just 72 hours for end-to-end execution, the pressure was immense. Challenges included iterative set design, production setup with LED and lighting rigs, and aligning teams on short notice. On-ground decision-making needed to be agile to accommodate any tech, talent, or layout issues without compromising on the shoot timeline.
